Omega 3’s Please!

Okay, I’ll admit it… I cheated on H2wOw, but just for a second!

I just recently discovered chia seed drinks and could not stop drinking them. The chia seeds help with dieting, joint pain, mood improvement, and are packed with omega 3’s (among many other benefits). Not to mention I was loving the fruity flavors.

But I was spending so much on those drinks, and honestly, I was okay with treating myself until I realized they’re fillllled with sugar! I knew there had to be a smarter way to get the health benefits of chia seeds, save money, and treat myself.

That’s how I came up with my new favorite H2wOw summer tip.

Add a table spoon of chia seeds to an 8 oz glass of water. Then add two squirts of whichever H2wOw flavor you’re currently obsessed with (Watermelon Honeydew for me) and let it sit for 15 mins.

The seeds absorb the water and get a kind of jelly consistency that is fun and filling. It can be a new sensation for those who aren’t used to kombucha or chia seed drinks and it might look funky but give it a try for yourself and see if you love this tasty summer treat as much as I do!
